Advantages of Working With Us PDF Print E-mail

Advantages of working with San Diego Human Dignity FoundationThe Foundation works with donors of all ages, backgrounds, affiliations, and walks of life. Here’s why they like partnering with the Foundation for giving:

  • Experience: Established in 1996, we’re now the 3rd largest LGBT-focused community foundation in the U.S.

  • Simplicity: Very little paperwork and no administrative hassle means you can focus on the meaningful parts of giving.

  • One-Stop Shopping: All your giving can be done in one place, LGBT and non-LGBT, San Diego and nationally. Any area of interest, for now and for the future.

  • Governance: Our board and committees operate according to best practices of governance in terms of transparency, financial management, and ethics.

  • Community Knowledge: At the Foundation, your interests come first.  We know the needs in San Diego and beyond and can help connect you to quality programs to leverage your impact.

  • Cost-Effectiveness: Our charitable giving options provide maximum tax benefits at a very low cost. A donor-advised fund is far less expensive to create and operate than is a private foundation, and it offers greater tax benefits.

  • Expertise: We are the experts in creating a meaningful, strategic giving plan whether you’re looking for strategies to involve your family in giving, choosing the best charitable vehicle, or identifying top programs in a particular interest area.

  • Permanence: We’re here for many generations to come. We take our responsibility as stewards of funds very seriously, realizing they will long outlast their donors. We will be here, ensuring that your wishes continue to be met far into the future.

  • Partnership: We partner with professional advisors to create highly effective approaches to charitable giving.

  • Leadership: We are community leaders, convening agencies and coordinating resources to create positive change.
