San Diego Human Dignity Foundation Welcomes Our New Executive Director!
The San Diego Human Dignity Foundation’s board of directors is pleased to announce the appointment of John Brown as SDHDF’s new Executive Director effective February 1, 2013. John comes to the Foundation after most recently serving as the Executive Director for Family Services of the Desert, one of the oldest non-profits in the Coachella Valley. Before that he served as Executive Director for Desert AIDS Project from 1998 to 2004. “The board of directors is very proud that John Brown has joined the San Diego Human Dignity Foundation as our new Executive Director,” said SDHDF board President Kay Chandler. “John has a long history of leadership in the Southern California LGBT Community. He brings a wealth of talent, experience, and knowledge of our community that position him well to lead the Foundation in its work to improve the quality of life in San Diego’s LGBT community.”
